Job Description

Team Leader position in WASAWASA HOTEL SUVA, Waimanu Road. 

Vacancy for a Night shift Team Leader. Hiring immediately.

The position is mainly for Night Shift and the hours will vary based on the Tourism Industry needs and availability. Working weekends is a priority. Person live close to Suva and/or have reliable transport. 

The person must have the skills and qualifications listed below. 

Skills/Qualifications Required

  • Must be honest, and ethical.
  • Be computer and software savvy
  • Be punctual and be ready to work flexible days and hours.
  • Be alert at all times regarding surroundings, guests, and staff members.
  • Check premises and report any damages to be handled as soon as possible.
  • Prior experience as supervisor and working in a hotel setting is a plus.
  • Have supervisory or team leader experience.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage workload.
  • Ability to delegate tasks to staffs and to ensure they are completed within that timefram.
  • Do internal auditing.
  • Have strong communication skills: written and verbally.
  • Ability to address and resolve internal and external conflicts.
  • Ability to handle guests keeping mind of different cultures and customs
  • Meet and/or exceed production/sales goals
  • Provide feedback to management and promote positive work environment.
  • Bring new ideas on the table to establish Company growth
