Job Description

POS Auditor

Skills/Qualifications Required

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Ability to ensure that the POS System is accurate and secure and that all pricing of items registered are correct as per the business retail price list
- Full working knowledge of the POS System including tracking of receipts by their unique number to thoroughly investigate any discrepancies and variances in sales
- Excellent knowledge of excel based spreadsheets so Daily Audit findings and reports can be communicated to Management
- Analytical thinker capable of analyzing and assessing sales data to ensure any fraudulent activity or variance is investigated and dealt with accordingly
- An individual who can develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive action to ensure business continuity and prevent non-conformance
- Ability to meet deadlines and excel beyond set goals
- Friendly, communicative individual who can successfully liaise with colleagues of other departments to resolve issues and complete investigations to the satisfaction of the business
- Knowledge of Liquor products, cocktail recipes etc an advantage

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- a certificate /diploma in accounting or audit for hotel management desired but not necessary 

Salary

Range: FJD 6 - FJD 1,100 / month
