About Us
Goolma Ltd, the operator behind Paradise Cove Resort, Blue Lagoon Beach Resort, and Octopus Resort, is currently accepting applications from experienced and qualified professionals for the position of Marine Technician.

About the Role
We are looking for a well-rounded and capable Marine Technician to support the maintenance and servicing of our fleet of vessels used across our Yasawa-based resorts. This hands-on role suits someone with a strong background in marine mechanics who can contribute both skill and knowledge to our operations.

Each of our three resorts operates multiple vessels for guest transfers, diving excursions, and other water activities, including transport between the islands and the mainland (Nadi).

 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to training efforts and share technical knowledge
  • Follow safety protocols and maintenance procedures
  • Work independently as well as part of a dynamic team
  • Operate and test boats to ensure completed work meets safety and performance standards
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot engine and gearbox issues
  • Knowledge of 2-stroke engines and basic electrical systems is an advantage
  • Experience with Suzuki four-stroke motors is preferred
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on outboard engines, particularly four-stroke petrol engines

Skills/Qualifications Required

What You’ll Bring

  • A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • A valid driver’s license (car and boat)
  • Solid hands-on experience with inboard and outboard engines
  • Strong communication skills and fluent English
