About the Role

Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa is looking for a dedicated and skilled Plumber to join our Maintenance Team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems to ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our guests and team members.

You’ll also support emergency repairs, perform routine checks, and work closely with contractors and other departments to keep our facilities running smoothly and efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in monthly safety inspections and training sessions
  • Support special maintenance projects as assigned
  • Ensure all fixtures and fittings are safe and meet health & safety standards
  • Liaise with contractors and assist in bathroom installations or refurbishments
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain all plumbing systems and equipment
  • Perform emergency repairs and daily plumbing checks throughout the hotel
  • Install and maintain toilets, sinks, baths, heating, and air-conditioning systems

Skills/Qualifications Required

  • Flexibility to work in varied shifts and respond to emergencies
  • Excellent grooming and communication standards
  • Strong commitment to guest service and a positive attitude
  • At least 1 year of experience in plumbing or a related maintenance role
  • Plumbing qualification from a recognized institution

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
  • Experience in a hospitality or hotel maintenance environment
