This island-based role is perfect for someone with a strong foundation in cooking and a passion for maintaining high kitchen standards in a team environment.

Skills/Qualifications Required

📋 Key Responsibilities

  • Follow recipes and preparation guidelines with precision and care
  • Monitor storage, stock rotation, and maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Prevent food waste and overproduction
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks while promoting strong team spirit
  • Assist other chefs and contribute to overall kitchen operations
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory control
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and plating
  • Handle daily operations of assigned kitchen section

 

Requirements

  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, island kitchen environment
  • A team player with leadership potential and willingness to learn
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Skills in pastry or cake decorating are an advantage
  • Ability to prepare a variety of dishes across all courses
  • Minimum 3 years of cooking experience
  • Formal culinary training required
