🛡️ The Role: Security Officer
As Serenity Sands prepares to welcome its first guests, we’re seeking a reliable, observant, and proactive Security Officer to join our opening team. In this role, you’ll ensure the safety and well-being of all guests, staff, and resort assets while maintaining a discreet yet vigilant presence. From patrolling the property and managing access points to supporting emergency response protocols, your role will be vital in maintaining the peaceful sanctuary we promise our guests.
Skills/Qualifications Required
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Equipment Oversight: Ensure all security systems and gear are functioning properly; report malfunctions as needed
Team Support: Assist in developing and executing pre-opening security protocols and training resort staff on safety awareness
Incident Documentation: Maintain detailed, accurate incident reports and daily logs
Protocol Enforcement: Implement and uphold safety policies, including evacuation procedures and emergency drills
Emergency Response: Respond swiftly and professionally to incidents, coordinating with local authorities when needed
Access Control: Oversee entry points, screen visitors, and ensure adherence to resort access procedures
Surveillance & Patrols: Monitor resort premises through CCTV and conduct regular foot patrols across guest and service areas

Willingness to work varied shifts, including overnights and weekends
Familiarity with surveillance systems and emergency response tools
Professional demeanor with the ability to remain calm under pressure
Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
Prior experience in resort, hotel, or property security (or relevant law enforcement background)
